CONFIDENCE, COMMUNICATION & CREATIVITY :

A WORKSHOP BY JO KUKATHAS

How to Speak for your Art and Not Just Expect Your Art Will Speak For You
organised by RogueArt

Do you get stage fright when you are asked to speak to an audience?
Wonder what to say next in an interview?
Do you lose your train of thought mid-conversation?
Do you clam up when introduced to intimidating characters?
Fidget in a corner at exhibition openings?

Artists and art workers interested in developing and refining their presentation skills were offered the unique opportunity to learn from the renowned actor, writer and Director of Instant Cafe Theatre.

In this three-session workshop, Jo Kukathas made use of theatre techniques to help us communicate our ideas and standpoints more effectively and creatively, exploring body language, how to deal with space and time, role-play and voice techniques.
