We had a super group of participants, including writers, artists and art managers and together explored different approaches to writing on art, with a field trip to exhibitions in George Town and at Muzium &amp; Galeri Tuanku Fauziah and a professional sharing session with editor Jason Tan, writer\/online publisher and editor Usha Chandradas (of Art Plural), art historians Dr Sarena Abdullah and Dr Laura Fan, who also ran a session on analysing artworks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were invited by Penang Art District to design a short course on art writing, which we ran over the course of three weekends in November\/December 2019.
